Closed Captioning

In the Lovin’ these Blogs section of my blog, you will notice that I follow the StenoKnight CART Blog. The author of this blog, Mirabai Knight, has started a series where she posts a variety of videos that she has closed captioned using Universal Subtitles. What a wonderful thing to do for the hearing impaired world!

So, being a curious person, I wandered over to the website for Universal Subtitles and tried it myself. I captioned a scene from Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer. It's really easy and fun ~ Check it out!

  1. Great post! How did you get it to show up on your page? When I tried copy-pasting the code given on the screen, I just get a blank space in mine. Oh well. That's one of my fave KRIMS movies. :)

  3. Jenni, I had the same problem with embedding the video into my blog post. I even went to the Google forums and asked what I was doing wrong. The gentleman who was helping me couldn't figure it out either, but thought the video was taking a long time to load because I had other videos and thing-a-ma-jigs on my blog. Keep trying. Post the code anyway. The code you get from Universal Subtitles will work and I bet the video will pop up in your blog post eventually.
